Wind Turbine Farms

A wind turbine farm is a large collection of wind turbines placed in an optimal location for wind to pass through. When wind turns the blades of a wind turbine, the rotor at the center moves as well, causing the main shaft inside the turbine to spin a generator and create electricity. The energy is collected, stored, and then transferred to a substation, where it helps power the energy grid. Wind turbine farms can be located in water or on land.
