EcoDistricts

EcoDistricts are a new model of urban development designed to empower just, sustainable, and resilient neighborhoods. A process called EcoDistrict certification guides city makers to take a collaborative, holistic, neighborhood-scale approach to community design. EcoDistricts incorporate a variety of strategies, including alternative energy sources, affordable housing, wetland restoration, green roofs and public transit.
