District Energy

District Energy is a centralized energy system that provides heating, cooling, and/or electricity to all the buildings in a district. Energy flows through underground pipes from a central source directly to industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. District Energy has many benefits, including reducing carbon emissions, conserving water, increasing efficiency and resiliency, creating more open rooftop space, and cutting costs of individual boilers, tanks, and chillers.
