Bring UrbanPlan to Your School

As a teacher, you have a lot to teach and a limited time to teach it. We get it. That’s why this program packs so much information and skills building into the unit while making it flexible to fit your school’s unique needs. UrbanPlan can be delivered as a full-day workshop, as an in-school field trip, or as a 15-18 hour unit when it is incorporated into a course.

UrbanPlan has been integrated into economics, government, and geography classes and also works well for business, leadership, and design courses. The unit is primarily designed for high school juniors and seniors, but has successfully been delivered to grade 9 and 10 students as well.

Our City Council day was a truly unforgettable experience and led to several unique opportunities for students to get involved in local projects.

The feedback from the judges was definitely one of the most important takeaways for our girls. That learning experience is really unique, engaging and effective.

I think UrbanPlan is good for high school students because it teaches people how to work well with other people, to workout varying opinions, and to look at multiple points of view.

There was an extremely high level of engagement in the room. The insights the volunteers gave & the level of interest in their career specialisms gave a unique and useful insight!
